Mikata high school was established in April, 1969. The school is young, in only its 36th year. Our motto is based on the foundation of our school, "Bright, Strong, Clean. "The school goal is to create students who do their best in both literary and sports development and present graduates who will go on to participate in the all sectors of society.
Mikata High School is praised by the Fukui prefecture board of education, even today, as our system and standards are changing and rising to meet today's expectations of the women and men we are sending out into the world upon graduation. High school is a time in a students life when the origin of common understanding, shows a dynamic power in rearing students to face the world.
We define this time of life as the 3 year period that builds the foundation for over 80 years of dreams. The students is seen as a pillar, his or her education, the foundation. The main feature of this small scale school is that we can look through the eyes of each individual person which makes fine and caring guidance possible.
Another strong feature of our school is represented through our refreshing atmosphere during class, campus and other school events where the school overflows with vigor and excitement. We will also complete our school
renovation in winter 2004. Such education system allows the students to rise to the educational environment. Our graduates are proof that the future as a capable talent that of course, we have anticipated.
In January 2004, the Mihama area received a research appointment of high consistent education in cooperation from the education scientific ministry. Presently directing the April, 2005 execution, it enters research concerning the way of high consistent education. Mihama area is first in order to become the system which in the south region from where people will start advancing research. We ask warm support, constructive opinion, and harsh guidance.
